My current work expresses my fascination with colour, form and light. From juicy pears and melons dripping with colour, to quiet still lifes, my art continues to evolve. I want the viewer to experience the same emotional response to the painting as I had painting it. Although I am working in other mediums, my first love will always be watercolour for its amazing properties that bring to life the vibrance and emotions of the scene.
Charles Reid has had, and continues to have, a great influence on my work.
